# value-state-history

The groupant beside world/src/values.rs in the Mova repository: what the code computes, what it never does, how to go back from its outputs, its invariants, cost and checks.

## Facts

- **kind:** groupant_fragment
- **status:** partial source derived instance
- **source:** [`world/src/values.rs`](https://github.com/ElamurAI/mova-free/blob/main/world/src/values.rs)
- **source SHA-256:** `b885d25364939e38…`
- **covers:** Record goal before achievement, then process external-character harm/help with resolved event cause. (bytes 10156–15639)
- **part of:** [value-judgment](https://md.groupants.elamur.ai/free/en/mova/world/src/values.rs.groupant/)
- **repository folder:** [`world/src/values.rs.groupant/history.groupant`](https://github.com/ElamurAI/mova-free/tree/main/world/src/values.rs.groupant/history.groupant)
- **repository commit:** `855da7bd4a7b`

> **Implementation material.** A Mova code model describes this code at one source revision: partial models, finite checks and their stated scope. It is not a reviewed general exposition, and its labels are shown as written, never raised.

## Obernants

The typed relations around the forward model: the behaviour complement (what the code never does), the reverse reconstruction (every input compatible with an output) and specialised views.

## Model text

### descriptant

## value-state-history

### Forward

Record goal before achievement and scan goal peers lexically; then the set-transition child resolves external-character harm/help with frozen prior-history eligibility.

### Invariant

Unique harm agents per target and at most one helped pair persist throughout invocation.

### Cost

O(L) stored histories; achievement can scan O(L) peers with O(L) rest/rival histories, O(L^2) per achievement worst-case.

### Composition

Achievement precedes external-character guards; self cause may achieve but cannot harm/help. Rule lookup gates emissions while history updates can survive missing rules. The child owns external-state transitions; goal timing and self-achievement stay here. These overlapping scopes do not add independent costs.

### Epoch memory

2026-10-29: source-derived initial model, source hash f450843ba1c92f35884eb71667d432f36a34f6316c9b8a252811e0dac87ddbe6. Scope envelope [9978,15267) is anchored to selected partial syntax nodes, not semantic proof or full coverage. Runtime source unchanged. AST omits macros expansion, name resolution, inferred types and cfg evaluation. Generated dictionary/global tables are fixed dependencies not bound by this file hash. Catalog false-formula controls and boundary observations refine claims without modifying production.

2026-10-29 current policy epoch: source b885d25364939e38e130ff598a24a46efd21f500ba51e27cd4465ceddb56f064. Regenerated syntax and reselected source-node envelopes replace historical anchors above. Historical unchanged-source claims refer only to their epoch. Current correspondence and dependency limits appear in the file-root current-evidence.md.

### catalog

## value-state-history typed models

Epoch 2026-10-29; subject values.rs, SHA-256 b885d25364939e38e130ff598a24a46efd21f500ba51e27cd4465ceddb56f064. Domain is the bounded calls/traces stated below; observation horizon is one invocation unless explicitly a trace. Fixed compiled global/dictionary tables, successful allocation, unpoisoned locks and nonoverflowing arithmetic are assumptions. Every relation is a partial source-derived specification; Rust correspondence beyond recorded checks remains open. Behavior complements target U minus R and restrictions are candidate inner bounds, not proven complements. Reverse relations preserve all compatible antecedents. Fields and goal peers use lexical order; harm eligibility uses command-start history. Historical traversal evidence is retained separately.

### nonbehavior

Type: behavior_complement. Domain, observation and operator: U=initialized states and set commands x successor states/projected outputs; R=set transition. Candidate U minus R includes self-caused harm history or second helped entry for same pair.

Evidence/falsification: Probe repeated relief. See root current-evidence.md for current execution and evidence.md for historical observations; other proposed checks remain unexecuted. Status: partial source-derived model with bounded evidence only.

### antecedents

Type: reverse_reconstruction. Domain, observation and operator: Help needs target harm already encountered, strictly before this set command, external character agent, relief value and pair absent from helped. Retain all compatible old harm agents/events/name aliases rather than unique prior story.

Evidence/falsification: Existing lion/mouse; bounded histories proposed. See root current-evidence.md for current execution and evidence.md for historical observations; other proposed checks remain unexecuted. Status: partial source-derived model with bounded evidence only.

### goal-same-line

Type: ordering_effect. Domain, observation and operator: Assigning goal on achievement command sets since=current; both strict rest intervals become empty, blocking steady-effort comparison for current goal despite earlier rest.

Evidence/falsification: Combined command check proposed. See root current-evidence.md for current execution and evidence.md for historical observations; other proposed checks remain unexecuted. Status: partial source-derived model with bounded evidence only.

### persistent-harm

Type: counterfactual_policy. Domain, observation and operator: Hypothetical clearing harmed on relief would distinguish harm/help-A/relief-B traces; current system may credit B from historical harm alone. This is a policy intervention, not inverse/current code.

Evidence/falsification: Probe current behavior; intervention unexecuted. See root current-evidence.md for current execution and evidence.md for historical observations; other proposed checks remain unexecuted. Status: partial source-derived model with bounded evidence only.

### tests

#### Checks

Root evidence.md records direct real-source Rust tests and bounded probes, including false-formula rejection. Catalog checks marked proposed remain unexecuted. Syntax/manifest validation checks identity and structure only. No GPU, live teacher, full application run or general proof.
