# world-idioms-dictionary

The groupant beside world/src/idioms.rs in the Mova repository: what the code computes, what it never does, how to go back from its outputs, its invariants, cost and checks.

## Facts

- **kind:** groupant_fragment
- **status:** partial source bound model
- **source:** [`world/src/idioms.rs`](https://github.com/ElamurAI/mova-free/blob/main/world/src/idioms.rs)
- **source SHA-256:** `ac32513e83eaf56b…`
- **covers:** Source scope dictionary; see model.md for functions and dependency limits. (bytes 1675–3126)
- **part of:** [world-idioms](https://md.groupants.elamur.ai/free/en/mova/world/src/idioms.rs.groupant/)
- **repository folder:** [`world/src/idioms.rs.groupant/dictionary.groupant`](https://github.com/ElamurAI/mova-free/tree/main/world/src/idioms.rs.groupant/dictionary.groupant)
- **repository commit:** `855da7bd4a7b`

> **Implementation material.** A Mova code model describes this code at one source revision: partial models, finite checks and their stated scope. It is not a reviewed general exposition, and its labels are shown as written, never raised.

## Obernants

The typed relations around the forward model: the behaviour complement (what the code never does), the reverse reconstruction (every input compatible with an output) and specialised views.

## Model text

### forward

Skip header; eligible POS/title grammar; optional fillers after first word; key first word and sole survivor; first minimum rank idiom<verb-phrase<phrase<other wins.

### invariant

Each pair has one selected row: minimal rank, earliest tie. Value retains title/kind/gloss; key alone loses fillers.

### cost

Linear input scan plus ordered-map/set insertion and string comparisons; root cost states composition. No timing claim.

### composition

This fragment shares source and state with its siblings; root composition specifies ordering and latent dependencies. It is not an independent replacement API.

### epoch-memory

Predicted first minimum dictionary rank and first MWE row; finite tests confirm. Limitations: substring flags, unconditional first-line discard, duplicate last pair versus summed marginals, absent phrasal book gate and unused k%1 set. Production unchanged.

### checks

Five native tests: 64 rank triples, eight phrase/POS contexts plus header, 80 MWE flag/type/title combinations, reversed order, four pair-key preimages. Full run/exports not executed. Fragment scopes are defined by source byte ranges; root evidence distinguishes executed helper tests from inspection-only branches.

### behavior-complement

Within the scoped input/output universe, violating ties or title-fiber is excluded by the source model. This inner constraint family does not claim a complete complement.

### reverse-reconstruction

Converse retains all inputs compatible with the scoped output and fixed dependencies; projections and discarded candidates generally create multiple antecedents. No single inverse is claimed.

### ties

Select lexicographic minimum (rank, row index). All 64 triples of four ranks checked with independent minimum/first oracle.

### title-fiber

Four kick bucket titles share key; complete values retain selected title. Context matching here is title grammar, not sentence meaning.
