# wikt-idioms-text-command

The groupant beside tools/wikt-idioms/src/main.rs in the Mova repository: what the code computes, what it never does, how to go back from its outputs, its invariants, cost and checks.

## Obernants

The typed relations around the forward model: the behaviour complement (what the code never does), the reverse reconstruction (every input compatible with an output) and specialised views.

## Model text

### descriptant

#### wikt-idioms-text-command

##### Epoch 2026-10-31

Full source read preceded changes. Prospective model predicted branch/order, resource and information-loss behavior. Tests exercise actual helpers on bounded synthetic inputs; command workflows remain unexecuted. Production source prefix is preserved; only inline tests added.

Line XML reader unescapes title/text and dispatches namespace0 to emit. emit selects English slice via first newline heading heuristic, first eligible POS/gloss and deduplicated register/region senses; title and multiword gates precede six-column TSV and kind precedence.

Executable percentage approximation is unsupported: categorical parsing/effects have no useful certified metric here. Partial syntax excludes macro expansion and name resolution.

### approximant

#### Forward relation

Line XML reader unescapes title/text and dispatches namespace0 to emit. emit selects English slice via first newline heading heuristic, first eligible POS/gloss and deduplicated register/region senses; title and multiword gates precede six-column TSV and kind precedence.

##### Domain

UTF-8 wikitext, line-based export shape. Plain text is heuristic, not complete wiki parser. English boundary deeper-heading limitation and title TSV sanitation gaps remain.

### composition

#### Local composition

The scoped plain-gloss fragment models its declared source interval. Parent relation: Line XML reader unescapes title/text and dispatches namespace0 to emit. emit selects English slice via first newline heading heuristic, first eligible POS/gloss and deduplicated register/region senses; title and multiword gates precede six-column TSV and kind precedence.

Shared representation/invariant: At most one row per emit; first POS and first labeled sense retained. Title>60 chars or colon rejects. Single word needs register/variety; all accepted multiwords receive a kind even without idiomatic label. Child costs are included in parent costs, not added a second time. Other command paths are tagged alternatives; the child alone does not establish whole-file behavior.

### models

## Typed source models

All models are partial source-derived relations at this manifest snapshot. Scope is one call/trace under the stated domain; no universal semantic proof.

### behavior_complement

Colon namespace/long title/no English/no POS exclude output. An unlabeled single word excludes output even with valid gloss.

Domain: UTF-8 wikitext, line-based export shape. Plain text is heuristic, not complete wiki parser. English boundary deeper-heading limitation and title TSV sanitation gaps remain. Observation: At most one row per emit; first POS and first labeled sense retained. Title>60 chars or colon rejects. Single word needs register/variety; all accepted multiwords receive a kind even without idiomatic label. Assumptions: bounded resources and source branch semantics. Oracle: selected actual-helper tests in tests.md constrain only their finite fixtures; remaining branches are source-derived.

### reverse_reconstruction

TSV row admits many discarded templates, alternate labels, later senses and non-English sections; first POS/gloss projection loses source uniquely.

### kind_precedence

Proverb > Verb+phrasal > idiomatic > Idiom > Verb > Phrase > multiword, evaluated in code match order.

### sense_label_projection

Each label/region uses first encountered labeled gloss, dedup by canonical identity; region British and UK collapse to UK.

### unicode_gloss_budget

short measures chars, takes160 and adds ellipsis; not160 bytes. Tabs replaced before output, semicolons within labeled gloss replaced commas.

### english_boundary_gap

Only first rest.find newline== inspected; if it is deeper heading, later language headers remain in en. Model states actual limitation, no full English-isolation guarantee.

### tests

#### Native evidence — 2026-10-31

Package/bin: `wikt-idioms`. Exact selected names:

- `wave33::gloss_labels_and_emit_precedence`

All 1 selected checks passed twice in debug and twice in release, one exact name per invocation with one test thread. Numeric exits are zero; sorted named outcomes match across all four runs. Added test blocks were formatted before these receipts; original source prefix (including earlier tests) remains byte-identical.

One compiled production mutant changed `Verb+phrasal kind phrasal-verb` to `kind verb-phrase`. The new wave33 test compiled and failed its runtime assertion (exit 101). Exact original/restored SHA-256 equality and a restored positive exact test (exit 0) were verified. No assertion-only mutant is counted; existing negative assertions remain ordinary tests. No surviving compiled mutant is omitted.

The external wave33 text receipts retain native-commands.json, verified-outcomes.json, mutation-report.json, raw logs/statuses, paired syntax projections and prospective.md. No private filesystem path is part of this public model.

Scope: actual helpers on synthetic in-memory data only. UTF-8 wikitext, line-based export shape. Plain text is heuristic, not complete wiki parser. English boundary deeper-heading limitation and title TSV sanitation gaps remain. The scoped fragment reuses these tests where its helper is reached; other declared paths remain source-derived. Macro expansion, full command/effect execution, corpus accuracy and universal correctness are not established.

### invariant-and-cost

#### Invariant and cost

##### Invariant

At most one row per emit; first POS and first labeled sense retained. Title>60 chars or colon rejects. Single word needs register/variety; all accepted multiwords receive a kind even without idiomatic label.

##### Cost

O(B^2) conservative for repeated plain link suffix scans and label rescans; O(B) text/char buffers; output one row and gloss truncated160 Unicode chars plus ellipsis.

Arithmetic and allocation premises are conditional. No timing or percentage surrogate claimed.
