# mova-serve-store

The groupant beside tools/mova-serve/src/store.rs in the Mova repository: what the code computes, what it never does, how to go back from its outputs, its invariants, cost and checks.

## Facts

- **kind:** groupant
- **status:** partial source bound model
- **source:** [`tools/mova-serve/src/store.rs`](https://github.com/ElamurAI/mova-free/blob/main/tools/mova-serve/src/store.rs)
- **repository folder:** [`tools/mova-serve/src/store.rs.groupant`](https://github.com/ElamurAI/mova-free/tree/main/tools/mova-serve/src/store.rs.groupant)

> **Implementation material.** A Mova code model describes this code at one source revision: partial models, finite checks and their stated scope. It is not a reviewed general exposition, and its labels are shown as written, never raised.

## Components

| component | label | where |
|---|---|---|
| **Approximant** | partial | [Approximant](#approximant) |
| **Ast** | partial | `syntax.json` |
| **Cost** | symbolic source derived | [Cost](#cost) |
| **Descriptant** | present | [Descriptant](#descriptant) |
| **Invariant** | partial | [Invariant](#invariant) |
| **Tests** | executed bounded checks | [Tests](#tests) |

## Obernants

The typed relations around the forward model: the behaviour complement (what the code never does), the reverse reconstruction (every input compatible with an output) and specialised views.

| relation | type | label | where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Behavior complement | behavior complement | partial source derived model | [Behavior complement](#behavior-complement) |
| Reverse reconstruction | reverse reconstruction | partial source derived model | [Reverse reconstruction](#reverse-reconstruction) |
| Model presence | model presence | partial source derived model | [Model presence](#model-presence) |

## Model text

### Descriptant

What the service keeps on disk: the request log (JSONL, daily and size rotation into zstd archives, bounded total, 90
days), the ring of the last N results, the short links of long texts (bounded, 90 days), the warm list.

### Approximant

`append(e)`: rotate if the day changed or the file passed day_bytes → write line; `Recent.put` writes slot k mod N;
`Links.put(q) = id(q)`.

### Invariant

Atomic writes (temporary file and rename); archives ≤ total_bytes and ≥ today − 90 days; the ring never holds
more than N files; a link id is a function of the text and language.

### Cost

One append a request; one compression a rotation (zstd level 9).

### Behavior complement

No IP addresses or user agents in the log; no full history of results.

### Reverse reconstruction

An archive decompresses to the exact JSON lines; a link id recovers its text and language while kept.

### Model presence

Without a state directory nothing is written.

### Tests

`store::tests`: rotation by day and size with valid zstd archives and the size bound over 40 days; the ring keeps the
last three of seven; links are stable, deduplicated and bounded, and refuse a path-like id.
