# mova-serve-brand

The groupant beside tools/mova-serve/src/brand.rs in the Mova repository: what the code computes, what it never does, how to go back from its outputs, its invariants, cost and checks.

## Facts

- **kind:** groupant
- **status:** partial source bound model
- **source:** [`tools/mova-serve/src/brand.rs`](https://github.com/ElamurAI/mova-free/blob/main/tools/mova-serve/src/brand.rs)
- **repository folder:** [`tools/mova-serve/src/brand.rs.groupant`](https://github.com/ElamurAI/mova-free/tree/main/tools/mova-serve/src/brand.rs.groupant)

> **Implementation material.** A Mova code model describes this code at one source revision: partial models, finite checks and their stated scope. It is not a reviewed general exposition, and its labels are shown as written, never raised.

## Components

| component | label | where |
|---|---|---|
| **Approximant** | partial | [Approximant](#approximant) |
| **Ast** | partial | `syntax.json` |
| **Cost** | symbolic source derived | [Cost](#cost) |
| **Descriptant** | present | [Descriptant](#descriptant) |
| **Invariant** | partial | [Invariant](#invariant) |
| **Tests** | executed bounded checks | [Tests](#tests) |

## Obernants

The typed relations around the forward model: the behaviour complement (what the code never does), the reverse reconstruction (every input compatible with an output) and specialised views.

| relation | type | label | where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Behavior complement | behavior complement | partial source derived model | [Behavior complement](#behavior-complement) |
| Reverse reconstruction | reverse reconstruction | partial source derived model | [Reverse reconstruction](#reverse-reconstruction) |
| Model presence | model presence | partial source derived model | [Model presence](#model-presence) |

## Model text

### Descriptant

Per-host branding of the pages rendered with the parse shell: brand, badge, breadcrumbs of message pages, absolute icon links, icon and picture files of the host, the eye beside the MCP site's introduction.

### Approximant

`apply(html, host, role, brand, release)` replaces the brand link text, the badge span and the icon links; `site_asset(path)` reads one of six named files from the host's icon directory; `eye_hero(page, host)` wraps the first heading and paragraph with the picture.

### Invariant

The parse site and the API host are never rebranded; a missing icon directory leaves the icon links as they are and shows no picture; only the six named files are served.

### Cost

A few string scans of one page.

### Behavior complement

No other host is touched; no file outside the six names is served; no image processing.

### Reverse reconstruction

The role of the host and its brand settings recover what a page shows.

### Model presence

Without settings the defaults apply: Elamur, Elamur Cabinet, MCP with the Mova release.

### Tests

`brand::tests` and `brand::app_tests`: brand, badge, crumbs, icon links and files for the three hosts, the picture with its WebP source and PNG fallback, the parse site unchanged, a host without icons.
