# math-library-surface

The groupant beside math/src/lib.rs in the Mova repository: what the code computes, what it never does, how to go back from its outputs, its invariants, cost and checks.

## Facts

- **kind:** groupant
- **status:** partial source bound model
- **source:** [`math/src/lib.rs`](https://github.com/ElamurAI/mova-free/blob/main/math/src/lib.rs)
- **source SHA-256:** `e8c39418e25d103f…`
- **repository folder:** [`math/src/lib.rs.groupant`](https://github.com/ElamurAI/mova-free/tree/main/math/src/lib.rs.groupant)
- **repository commit:** `48f2e6f74146`

> **Implementation material.** A Mova code model describes this code at one source revision: partial models, finite checks and their stated scope. It is not a reviewed general exposition, and its labels are shown as written, never raised.

## Obernants

The typed relations around the forward model: the behaviour complement (what the code never does), the reverse reconstruction (every input compatible with an output) and specialised views.

## Model text

### descriptant

#### Source-bound description

Declares small/big arithmetic, plan/curriculum/memory/solver, word problem and Lean modules. No initializer or runtime dispatcher.

Epoch 2026-10-31: prospective model before bounded synthetic tests; production behavior unchanged. Compile/representation evidence only, no independent runtime mutation control.

### approximant

#### Forward relation

Declares small/big arithmetic, plan/curriculum/memory/solver, word problem and Lean modules. No initializer or runtime dispatcher.

Domain: Rust workspace/module resolution; no independent input or arithmetic API.

Executable Rust approximant unsupported: categorical/effect observations have no useful percentage metric yet. Future caps1/2/5/10% only; no automatic substitution.

### invariant

#### Invariant and cost

Module declarations alone execute no teacher call and establish no solver correctness; compilation excludes unresolved modules only in this build.

Ordering: Module declaration order is organization, not runtime scheduling.

Cost: Zero declaration runtime work; compilation depends on dependency graph/features.

### composition

#### Composition and epoch memory

Public modules consumed by CLI/integration tests; runtime laws delegated to their source groupants.

Compile/representation evidence only, no independent runtime mutation control.

Partial syntax and finite tests do not establish all caller assumptions.

### models

### behavior_complement

Module declarations alone execute no teacher call and establish no solver correctness; compilation excludes unresolved modules only in this build.

### reverse_reconstruction

Compiled symbol is compatible with module implementations exporting it; declaration file cannot reconstruct implementation output.

### failure_precedence

Module declaration order is organization, not runtime scheduling.

### representation_transport

Public modules consumed by CLI/integration tests; runtime laws delegated to their source groupants.

### resource_boundary

Zero declaration runtime work; compilation depends on dependency graph/features.

### domain_boundary

Rust workspace/module resolution; no independent input or arithmetic API.

### tests

#### Evidence, 2026-10-31

Selected actual-source checks: `Selected math lib tests compile the public surface`. Exact commands, numeric statuses, normalized outcomes, compiled assertion controls and restoration receipts are in the external wave28 mathcontrol run.

Compile/representation evidence only, no independent runtime mutation control.

No live teacher/API, trained model, corpus/held-out, GPU, DB or expensive benchmark run. Parent syntax generated twice identically. Scope remains partial.
